Omnidirectional Infinites

One of my favorite things to do, is to sit quietly and try to comprehend infinity. It's difficult to understand from the perspective of a human lifespan, say 70 years. However, time is nothing but a linear designation created to better understand our world. Infinity works both ways. The sun is one of billions of stars. Likewise, the neuron is one of billions creating this thought process. Just as our planet is hundreds of millions of years old, each moment is made of generations on a microscopic level and so on infinitely in both directions. I am left with this thought. The human perspective is a limited slice of the entire piece. When one tries to comprehend infinity, it is always big, and from that perspective, human life is meaningless. This has been haunting me for years. I was only looking up and out. It recently occurred to me that an atom in my body may be a star system to some submicroscopic being and our galaxy may be the nucleus of a blood cell pumping through the veins of an organism I could never comprehend. Infinity is omnidirectional. This means that my life is both meaningless and all that matters at the same time. My life will come and go in the blink of an eye for the sun, but there is a new big bang with every beat of my heart.

Just got back from tour of the southeast. Hattiesburg, Jackson, Atlanta, Macon, and my favorite city in America, New Orleans. Shit was proper. People went nuts. Walked into four cities we had never played and had big crowds that loved it. Been getting radio in New Orleans. This shit might actually be happening. Band is tight, positive vibes everywhere, music is evolving in an exciting way. I cant wait to make this next record. Next level shit. Im on top of the world.
